Requirements for Membership

Undergraduate

Membership is by invitation from your university chapter, Maryland Delta. To be eligible, an undergraduate student must be in the top 1/8 of their junior class or top 1/5 of their senior class in the combined engineering departments.

Each candidate must complete the following to be inducted:

    Attend induction meetings

    Attend one chapter social event

    Participate in one community service project with the chapter

    Obtain a faculty recommendation

    Complete of a chapter specific project

    Pay lifetime membership dues ($85)

Graduate

Membership is by invitation from your university chapter, Maryland Delta. To be eligible, a graduate student must have completed at least half of their degree requirements and be in the top 1/5 of the combined engineering departments.

Each candidate must complete the following to be inducted:

    Attend induction meetings

    Attend one chapter social event

    Participate in one community service project with the chapter

    Obtain a faculty recommendation

    Complete of a chapter specific project

    Pay lifetime membership dues ($85)

    Submit one letter of recommendation from your faculty advisor stating that at least half of the work for your degree is completed.
