well, umbc's campus is half a mile from the ideal mountain biker's backyard: patapsco state park. particularly, we are located next to the avalon area which has miles of quality offroading.
our location, catonsville maryland, also places us around some good road riding routes. even though mountain biking is wayyyy cooler, there's some awesome road riding to be had in the area.
most of the students in our club are local to these rides listed, located in the central maryland area.
A great resource for finding rides is MTBR check there for driving directions and descriptions of Maryland trails.
