History

We are one of the Sports Clubs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County . The UMBC Ballroom Dance Club was established in the Spring of 1998 in order to offer affordable dance classes on campus, taught by talented, professional dance instructors. In addition, many of our club members participate in the weekly outings attended by other area college students and dancers in the community. Our club also helps to send members to dance competitions, organizes dance demonstrations, and sponsors social dances on campus.
