About the UMBC Anime Society Mailing List

The Anime Society's mailing list is the organization's primary avenue for communicating vital information to the membership.  Subscribing to the list is the only formal requirement to maintain membership in the organiztion.  Messages can range from important bulletins about events to general discussion of anime.  The messages tend to be administrative, and for those concerned about the volume of emails received, the list tends to be busy at the very beginning of a semester, and just prior to our 24 Hours of Anime.

How to subscribe

Visit the Lists system,

If you would like to subscribe your UMBC email account:

• click "myUMBC Login"
• click "Index of Lists"
• click "anime-fans@lists.umbc.edu"
• click "Subscribe"
• You are now subscribed to this list.

If you would like to subscribe a non-UMBC email account:

• click "Create an account"
• type your email address into the blank field
• click "Send Me My Password"
• check your email for an email from "UMBC Mailing List Manager"
• copy the password provided
• Click the link below "Changing your password"
• Enter your old and new password
